Lovely comic! It touches on a number of final details like destruction of forests in remote places for the financial benefits of other countries and how tree farms are not a replacement for forests.
If you love animals, you have to love trees just as much! They're not as cute and exciting maybe, but they are the homes and found sources for so many of those animals we love, and it takes decades or centuries of those trees being wild and left alone to become that support system of the ecosystem.
