Rubi and Newt

A couple of pics from yesterday. First, Rubi the White- faced Owl did a bit of exploring and meeting and greeting, and the second pic is of a Smooth Newt that visitors reported swimming in the Great Grey Owl water dish. While it's not so likely that those birds would eat the newt, it was better relocated to the wildlife pond, under Rubi's supervision. 🙂
