The BBC website? Maybe if you live outside the UK it does? Literally zero pop ups for me, one of the few news websites that still has no pay/cookie wall.

Yup, bbc has gone to shit now. They’re trying to get subscription revenue from anyone outside the uk, and load up the ads. It used to be a staple source on world news (albeit somewhat biased). But it’s jumped the shark and is lost.

I an outside the UK so possible. If I open it in a browser that has ublock its fine, I was opening it with the bult in browser in Voyager though

“closing down streets” in the headline feels like some pro-car propaganda. The streets are actually more open now: you can walk or cycle anywhere you want, without being threatened by 2-ton steel boxes going at terrifying speeds with poorly trained humans in control, which we somehow decided everyone should use to get around.
