Probably an unpopular opinion, but this is dumb. Schools should be teaching kids how to responsibly deal with phones instead of just banning them. They are going to have phones once they graduate and they should be learning responsible ways to integrate that in to their adult life
If I’m in a meeting at work I can’t have my phone.
So yes, this is absolutely teaching kids to be responsible.
