The original post was some tankie propaganda, whining about how capitalist authoritarianism oppressed their stupid shit, meanwhile, the modlogs are full of the dipshit mod for that community banning and removing everyone that so much as whispered in the oppose direction of their little echo chamber.
So, I did what anyone with a few extra minutes and a healthy understanding of the concept of hypocrisy would do- I created an opportunity to allow the mod to step up and prove me right.

After reading that, I’d have said the exact same thing. That mod clearly has no idea how hypocritical they are.
They some years back at least wanted to ban everyone from all sorts of words after the R one was disallowed. Idiot, stupid, all sorts of stuff. I am against banning words, and don’t think banning everyone from using one because some are misusing it is effective. But I gave way on the R word, that’s not my focus.
But I don’t entirely have a good view of their mods either although I never got a violation on their sub as I recall..
I have actually seen people policing the words idiot and stupid here as recently as 3 months ago. I genuinely don’t think anyone has seen those words as ableist, ever.
(Sure it hurts if someone calls you stupid in person in front of others, because it implies they’re confident enough to pick out a pattern of behaviour, but it doesn’t mean “you have a disability.” Being called R word on the other hand will always hurt unless its an established thing among friends.)
If they want to police language forsooth then methinks we might well wind back the sandtimer to get medieval speak!
And I think they only give violations for debating/arguing with them. Which is just the tankie cherry on top
