We’ve been an Xbox household forever, but recently I stopped paying for Game Pass due to the price increases. Last night my daughter was complaining that there was “nothing to play”.
There are some games which, for whatever reason, I just don’t vibe with enough to keep playing even if I want to see the story. Some of these games will have a “story mode” difficulty which is just meant to be a really easy version of the game you could play to just get the story without worrying too much about needing to overcome the challenges.
In a not-so-scientific benchmark conducted by YouTuber Cyber Dopamine, the Rog Xbox Ally managed to perform better without Windows, the operating system it ships with out of the box. Cyber installed Bazzite, a popular Linux distro for handhelds built specifically to offer that console-esque, seamless experience. Visually, Bazzite looks identical to SteamOS because it uses Steam’s Big Picture Mode as its main launcher. It also behaves similarly, but has its own custom menus and settings for customizing things like power profiles (which override Asus’ built-in ones).
What could be the best way to replay one of your favorite games that you had trouble beating? Certainly the most exciting one will be… starting fresh and replaying it in the hardest difficulty?! Time for me to finally solve my issues or die trying with Metaphor ReFantazio Challenge Edition!

Quick background. My primary gaming is done on a Promox host running Wolf in a LXC. I use this combined with Moonlight to stream my games to various screens around the house. For on the go and couch gaming I use a Lenovo Legion Go running SteamOS. I also own a MacBook Pro.
Chroma Squad is a fantastic turn-based RPG that is both a loving homage to the Power Rangers, but also an ingenious look at the production of a TV series. Rather than fighting evil as the Crayon Box of Justice, you instead play a manager of a new Super Sentai show hoping to become the greatest show on television. It’s a formula that works fantastically.
It’s reported that the Google Play store entry of Eden emulator (a Switch emulator) is no longer available. We don’t know the reason, but my educated guess is that Nintendo might have striked. I recommend to download current official clean builds and source code for backup, just in case you want to use it later.

Watch Dogs Legion is a great game thanks in large part to its incredible recruitment mechanic. It's got its flaws and limitations, but Legion laid the groundwork for what could have been a great feature going forward. Too bad Ubisoft killed Watch Dogs.
Hello. I propose a Half Life meet up, and I partially got the idea from reading about the Fallout meet ups, but ours could still be something unique, such as possibly including a dodgeball event using a set of rules inspired by the NES Super Dodgeball game.
