Australia should respect their heritage and continue the Luddite effort.
In the faculty of arts and social sciences, 0% agreed with the statement: “I trust the University of Sydney to act in the best interests of staff, students and the broader community.”
Sounds like the University is full of slop. Are you defending slop??

Obviously. University higher ups only care about maximising their power or the profit.
Waitaminute!
You mean the Chancellor and ‘leadership’ team don’t care most about bumping their own salaries and easily achieved bonuses?
The uni needs to take a long hard look at itself, and set a culture of greed and ‘fuck you, got mine’ from the top!
This isn’t just a uni leadership problem imo (though that is a huge problem). It’s also the pollies who don’t seem to give a shit about higher education or research.
all the top staff have tenure and high pay and benefits
the rest have no job security and declining pay and benefits
