I gave up on my original (previous post) because it was just too small for the task. I started a new larger version with a more traditional Mucha framing. Penciled in some key elements, went over to a smaller one to work out a line style that would be truer to Mucha and work with the three tropical designs that would be the focus.
After watching Mr. Robot based on the recommendation from Rubisco@slrpnk.net here on Lemmy, I was then encouraged to paint Darlene. Her hair and lips intimidated me the most. How did they turn out?
I’m trying to get the landscape figured out. I started with brown for the whole paper, but I forgot what I was going to do, and ended up making the grassy hills. I tried to get something going on the sky, it looks browner in the photo than the actual paper.
